Description Welcome to the Pioneer Group – A family-owned and operated business with more than 60 years of experience. Established in 1964, David Strachan developed a general engineering business repairing farm equipment and providing a service to local industry. David’s son Graham continued to develop Pioneer Engineering using his skills as a qualified fitter & turner to branch into manufacturing and provide general and specialist engineering services to a wider range of customers. Graham’s sons, Arne & Peter joined the business. By this time in addition to general, precision, and hydraulic engineering, Pioneer Group was engaged in abrasive blasting and painting and had developed a reputation for high-quality workmanship and innovative approach to customer requirements.
